MISSION: For 25 years, The New York Center for Children has provided free, bilingual, trauma-focused, comprehensive evaluation and therapy services to victims of child abuse and their families, for as long as their healing requires. NYCC’s individual and group therapy services are offered in English and Spanish.
In addition, we provide free tutoring, mentoring and extracurricular events. The Center’s services are offered in a child-friendly and welcoming environment. NYCC serves children from all five boroughs of New York City. NYCC is currently providing services remotely during the COVID-19 pandemic.
NYCC is also a leader in training programs on the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of child abuse, attended by professionals and graduate-level medical, psychology and social work students.
